The Bethel Warriors wrestling team traveled to Fairbanks to compete in the Battle of the Interior Duals hosted by Lathrop High School, placing 5th overall. In the first round Bethel lost to Wasilla in a close contest, 45-30. Bethel defeated Lathrop (50-21), North Pole (36-27), West Valley (48-31) in rounds 2, 3, and 5. The Warriors also lost to South Anchorage (77-0), Student Wrestling Development Program (67-9), and Eagle River (35-33) in rounds 2, 4, 6, and 7.
The Lady Warriors also battled, winning the silver team trophy. They defeated West Valley in round 1 (30-24) and North Pole in round 2 (26-24) and the Student Wrestling Development Program (30-24) in round 4 and lost to Soldotna (46-18) in round 3.
