The WarriorDome was busy with basketball on the court on Friday night with boys and girls teams visiting from Aniak and Kodiak. The Aniak Lady Halfbreeds played the Bethel Lady Warrior JV team, Aniak won 48-19. The Aniak Halfbreed boys team took the court with the Bethel Warrior JV team winning in a close contest, 45-41. The Bethel Lady Warriors varsity team defeated the visiting Kodiak Lady Bears 48-36. The final game was with the Warrior boys and the Kodiak Bears. The Bears won 63-23. Bethel elementary and junior high teams from Gladys Jung, Ayaprun Elitnaurvik and Bethel High School warmed up the court with blue and gold games before the Aniak and Kodiak games. More basketball is scheduled for Saturday, January 22, 2022.
