VFW sponsors basketball tournament at the WarriorDome

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10041 along with the Bethel Warrior junior varsity host team sponsored a basketball tournament this past weekend. Boys and girls teams from Aniak, Chefornak, Dillingham, Emmonak, Kalskag, Kwethluk, and Toksook Bay were invited to the event.

The Chefornak Lady Shamans won first place and the Bethel JV Warriors also won first. The Lady Kwethluk Carayiit placed second for the girls and the Toksook Bay Islanders took second for the boys.
