Macaroni Seafood Salad

This recipe is from The Alaskan Grub-Box by Sis Laraux. This wonderful cookbook is full of delicious recipes from Sis Laraux Troseth and her friends and relatives who shared their recipes with her.

“All Alaskan Natives, no matter where you were raised, depended on the game and fish in their area. In the 20’s, when I was born, on the Kuskokwim River, survival was what we could get through subsistence,” wrote Sis Laraux in the opening letter of her book. “We depended on the area wild game, birds and fish, besides reindeer and berries. There was so much drying, smoking, canning, salting and preserving to keep us going.”

This recipe is from Renee Nicholson. Combine and enjoy. Quyana!
