The Lower Kuskokwim School District Board of Education met on July 22, 2021. During the meeting, the Board approved indoors and outdoors athletic activity practices for students and travel as amended and approved at the April 26th, 2021 Board meeting.
“In and out of region travel for competition may commence with full school populations with the established LKSD practice and travel mitigation protocols with approval from the school’s ASB for practice, event participation, and travel and local Tribal Council to host events, and travel as amended and approved at the April 26, 2021 Board meeting with consideration of the YKHC/CDC guidelines,” stated the board action.
Board members in attendance were Clarence Daniel, John Mark, Mike Husa, Hugh Dyment, Richard Long, and Felix Albert via Zoom.
