Dolena Fox has not been idle – she is now a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). She earned her Instructor wings in December 2021 with her training at Blue River Aviation in Palmer.
“I got my CFI in hopes to utilize sharing aviation in the Bethel region for aspiring pilots,” she wrote.
She would like to thank AVCP, the Jeff Cheng Memorial Scholarship, Blue River Aviation, and Great Circle LLC for their assistance in helping her achieve her dreams. Dolena earned her Commercial Pilot License on August 18th, 2021.
Her parents are Harvey and Pauline Fox from Kipnuk and Kwigillingok. Her and her family currently live in Bethel. She is a Mt. Edgecumbe Brave alumna.
