The Great Alaska Conference Wrestling took place last weekend, hosted by the Bethel Warriors at the WarriorDome. The top two wrestlers in each weight class have earned a berth to the Alaska Schools Activities Association State Championships next weekend at the Alaska Airlines Center, December 15-16, 2023.
Both Bethel boys and girls teams won the top team award. The Tuntutuliak BlueJays won the Academic Award with a 3.6 GPA. Liam Pingayak-Green of Chevak was voted the Outstanding Male Wrestler and Isabel Lieb of Bethel was voted the Outstanding Female Wrestler.
