Gloria Ann Fitka was born to the late Willie Fitka Sr. and Lorraine Fitka on Sept. 23, 1953 in Mt. Edgecumbe.
She was raised in Marshall along with her parents, siblings and the rest of her family. She attended elementary school in Marshall and went to high school at Mt. Edgecumbe where she graduated in 1972. She attended school in Seward. Glor worked as a Marshall School Head Cook from 1980-2016.
Glor enjoyed her children, great grandchildren and great -great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed subsistence life, berry picking and cutting fish. She always had her door open for homeless and needy people. She supported people that asked her for help. Surrounded by family and friends, she passed away on July 18, 2021.
She leaves behind her partner Mike Peters, their children Shannon, Donald and Trisha Fitka; her children Terence & Maureen; her adopted children Sharlene, Curtis, Tassie, Sophia & Darin; her grandchildren Tammy, Nikki, Kara, Morris, Mikayla, Shanelle, Raisa, Irene, Matthew, Trevin, Norman, Lyle Jr., Jimmy, Brayden, Avery, Selaina, Sylus, Scarlett, Ariana, Leann, Scott, Cameron, Daphne, Brayden, Kaeden, Theresa, Dominic, Darin Jr., Jasmine; her great-grandchildren Leo, Micah, Myra; her brothers John & Ronald; & her sisters Julia, Lena & Barbara.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Sr. and Lorraine, her brothers Francis, Arthur, Patrick, Willie Jr., & her grandchildren Tristan and Katya.
