LKSD Napakiak K-12, Phase 2.5 Pad and Pile Project

Sealed bids for LKSD Napakiak K-12, Phase 2.5 Pad and Pile Project, Lower Kuskokwim School District, PO Box 305, Bethel, AK 99559, will be received via hard copy to the offices of Bettisworth North Architects and Planners, 2600 Denali, Suite 710, Anchorage AK. Starting at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, prevailing time, Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 at which time they will be collected. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 3:00 PM using call in and video conference, an invitation link will be sent via addenda. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bid modifications are required to be hand delivered to the place of bid opening by the same deadline. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to verify that bid modifications have been received.

Work for this project in the base bid includes all work required to install a pad and driven pile at the future Napakiak K-12 School site. Bid alternate will include fuel tanks, supporting steel and fencing. The work extends an existing parking pad and driveways placed by others in 2021.

Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 2pm, February 17th Using call in and video conference -invitation link will be sent via addenda.

Complete bidding documents for this project are available in electronic form. They may be viewed online and downloaded without charge and without deposit from www.aeplans.com and are available to your local planrooms and reprographers. If software/website technical assistance is needed please call toll free 888 320-3032. Bidders must register through the web site to be notified of addenda. Bid documents are not available from the Architect or the Owner, but they may be obtained from most plan rooms and reprographic firms for a fee. Bonds: In addition to a 5% of the Base Bid, Bid Bond requirement, Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bonds in the amount of 100 percent of Contract amount will be required at the time of contract signing.

Wage Rate Requirements: Current prevailing wage rates as defined in State of Alaska, Department of Labor, Laborers and Mechanics Minimum Rates of Pay (Title 36) are required for this project. Solicitation of Bid, Award of Bid, Bid Protest of Qualified Bidders, and Award of Contract will be conducted in accordance with 4 AAC 31.080. Bid protest may be filed within 10 days after Notice of Intent to Award is issued. A visit to the job site is encouraged but not required for bidding the project.
