Energizing Alaska

Dear Honorable Mary Sattler Peltola:

It is great that we have one of our own representing us in Washington DC.

We finally have a seat at the table.

I would like to comment on your efforts to strengthen the Railbelt Energy Grid.

This is a great idea. The Railbelt Energy Grid serves a great purpose and the mission of that Energy Grid needs to be expanded to include all of our communities in Alaska.

The Railbelt Energy Grid should be renamed and become the Alaska Energy Grid so that we can expand and develop our energy prospects to include all of our communities, not just the Railbelt.

If this is done, it will help Alaska focus on working diligently to provide long term, affordable, reliable energy to ALL of Alaska.

After all, you are the representative for ALL of Alaska. You should be remembered as being the person who is working to ENERGIZE all of Alaska by supporting an Energy Grid that works for all of our communities in Alaska.

Thank you for all you are doing for us out in DC. Best regards.

Mourning the passing of former Representative Kurt Olson

The Alaska House of Representatives deeply mourns the passing of Former Representative Kurt Olson. A dedicated public servant, Olson represented District 28 from 2005 to 2017, leaving a lasting impact on Alaska’s legislative landscape. His commitment to Alaska extended beyond Juneau, having also served on the Central Emergency Services Service Area Board of Directors and on Soldotna’s City Council. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends during this time, and we will continue to remember and recognize the significant contributions he made to our great state.

Lt. Governor of Alaska Nancy Dahlstrom announces Campaign for U.S. Congress

Proven Fighter, Statewide Elected Official, Conservative Republican, Law Enforcement Leader, and Military and Veterans Advocate Running to Represent Alaska.

Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom today (November 14th, 2023) announced she is running for U.S. Congress to represent Alaskans and continue her fight for Alaska’s way of life where it is needed most.

Nancy is a conservative Republican, law enforcement leader, military and veterans advocate, and the 15th Lt. Governor of Alaska.

“Alaska needs a proven tough fighter to stop the assault on Alaska from Joe Biden and Washington D.C. liberals,” said Lt. Governor Dahlstrom. “Raising my four kids and working my way up in the private sector before giving back to serve Alaskans, I have seen how D.C. politicians betray Alaskans every day. In Congress, I will stop Biden and the extreme liberals ruining our future, bankrupting our families, killing our jobs, harming our military and veterans, and threatening our security.”

“I’ve dedicated my career advocating for our military and veterans, protecting our families by locking up violent criminals, and developing Alaska’s natural resources, energy, and jobs,” continued Dahlstrom. “Talk is cheap, results matter. Alaska needs Washington D.C. to stop working against us, and no one will fight harder for Alaska’s way of life than me.”

Alaska’s jobs, rights, and values are under unprecedented attack from Biden and Washington D.C. liberals, who have imposed more than 50 executive actions harming Alaskans.
