Slamtastic was in full gear this past weekend at the Home of the Warriors, Bethel Regional High School. Volleyball teams from Barrow, Hooper Bay, Mountain City Christian Academy (formerly Anchorage Christian Academy), participated in the event.
Junior varsity and varsity teams played six games on Friday and seven on Saturday. All varsity matches were best of 5 and JV matches were best of 3.
Games took place starting on Friday afternoon and concluded on Saturday night. A senior night ceremony took place on Saturday to honor all seniors. Seniors included six Lady Warriors of Bethel; Avyrl Bell and Tenisha Smith of Hooper Bay; Zadah Unutoa, Aiga Unutoa, Arlene Unutoa of Barrow; Jieaya Siatina, Jenna Houck, Anika Stanley, Neveah Dunlap, Mary Alsworth, and Ambrea Jackson of Mountain City Christian Academy.
