Bethel Fire Department Calls for week ending May 5

 

• During the month of April Bethel Fire Responded to 212 medical call and 10 fire calls.

• On 4/30/17 at 6:30am EMT’s were dispatched to the report of an ATV crash near AC Quick Stop. EMTs treated and transported the patient to the hospital. The patient was not wearing a helmet.

• On 4-30-17 at 1:36 p.m. firefighters responded to the area of Mission Lake Road for a report of an electrical fire. On arrival a smell of smoke was present. Firefighters found an overheated appliance and removed that item. Firefighters then cleared.

• On 4-30-17 at 1:45 p.m. medics responded to Video World for the report of a person unresponsive. Patient assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 5/1/17 at 8pm EMTs were dispatched to a person not breathing. EMTs treated and transported the patient to the hospital.

• On 5/3/17 at 12:00 pm medic s responded to LKSD offices for a report of a person choking. Patient was no longer choking when medics arrived. Patient refused treatment and transport, medics returned to quarters.

• On 5/3/17 medics responded to North Avenue for a report of a person down. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 5/3/17 at 6:45 pm medics responded to Ravn Air for the report of a person with a laceration. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.

• On 5-4-17 at 3:03 p.m. medics responded to the area of Joe Lomack Beach for a person bleeding out of his stomach. Patient transported to the hospital.

• On 5-4-17 at 6:28 p.m. medics responded to 4th Avenue for a person shaking. On arrival patient was in seizure and transported to the hospital.

• On 5-5-17 at 6:26 a.m. medics responded to Alaska Airlines for a person with hypothermia. Patient transported to the hospital.

• On 5-5-17 at 3:27 pm medics responded to Ptarmigan Street for report of a person having withdrawals. Patient was assessed and transported to the Hospital.

• On 5-5-17 at fire fighters responded to the area behind LKSD for report of grass fire. Fire was extinguished and fire fighters returned to quarters.

• On 5-5-17 at 11:43 pm medics responded to Osier for report of person with nose bleed. Patient was assessed and transported to the hospital.
