Gina Minock-Kelly is 7 years old. She learned to cut her very 1st fish on the 15th of June 2017 at her family’s fishcamp, which is a 5 minute boat ride above Pilot Station. “We teach them young to do things in our culture, so when they’re older they’ll remember how they were taught at a young age,” wrote Collen Kelly, Gina’s older sister. “It’s always a family thing to go to fishcamp especially with kids. We teach them how to cut and take care of fish throughout the summer.”
