Albert U. Atchak

Feb. 22, 1988 – Feb. 13, 2023

Albert U. Atchak was born on February 22, 1988 at Bethel, Alaska to Stan M. & Betty Atchak. We were excited for his birth to our family and enjoyed every minute of it while he was growing up.

Albert loved to work with construction and he was passionate about it. He went to training at Yuut Elitnaurviat in Bethel and passed it with completion certificate. He helped built the latest AVCP Housings in Chevak after graduation. He was our construction handyman in our house and he even helped build small buildings in Chevak.

He received his Chevak High School Diploma with his other close friends. He loved his bass guitar and played it quite often.

Albert’s favorite time of the year was during salmon berry picking season. We would go on the big lake and pick berries. He always knew what needs to be done when we went camping.

Albert U. Atchak was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Cecelia Atchak and grandfather Albert Atchak, his maternal grandmother Natalia Smith & Theresa Moses, grandfather George Moses, Nathan Fisher, auntie Rose Kanrilak, Clyde Kanrilak, and all his relatives.

Albert U. Atchak leaves his beloved family and will someday welcome them to his heavenly home: parents Stan M. & Betty Atchak, brothers Amos Smith, Ted, Harold, Stan L., Sam, Nathaniel, & Sinka Atchak. His nieces & nephews, and his uncles Peter, John, Roy, Raymond, & Earl Atchak. Paul, Gabe, George Jr., Jerry Moses. His Aunties Teresa Ulroan, Cathy Joe, Mabel Pequeno, Debbie Aguchak, Virginia May, Judy Merwin, Bernice Tall, Georgiana Moses, & Julie Springer.

He leaves many of his best friends he made during his lifetime.

We all like to thank each and everybody for your comfort and help in your many ways! We are very thankful to all the many families and businesses that brought us food. We very much appreciate all the financial assistance from everyone who participated and you will not be forgotten, you will be in our daily prayers. God Bless you all who cared and prayed for us.

Farewell & fly high Albert U. Atchak until we meet again in paradise!
