Unofficial reports say that a Caravan Cessna 208 plane crash landed in Bethel on Monday, July 8th, 2019 at approximately 3:05pm. Eyewitnesses say that the plane was coming in fast. According to verbal reports, the pilot was able to get all passengers out of the plane, everyone survived and were taken to the hospital. Emergency responders rushed to the site with a fire truck and medics. The plane caught on fire, verbal accounts say that a fuel cell exploded. Responders let the fire burn. Black smoke could be seen billowing from the crash at the end of the runway. Bethel Fire Captain Daron Solesbee said that an official statement will be forthcoming.
