The Yuut Basketball Association will be hosting their Summer League Championship basketball tournament featuring high school girls and boys teams from throughout the region. The event will take place July 3rd – 5th in Bethel at the WarriorDome and the Gladys Jung Elementary gym.
Teams participating include Akiuk, Akula, Chevak, Scammon Bay, Kwethluk, YBA Girls and Boys, Akiachak, Napaskiak, Nunapitchuk, Toksook Bay, Tuluksak, Kalskag, Akiak, and Aniak.
Session 1 games will begin at 12 noon at both gyms. This event is made possible with sponsorship from Platinum sponsors: Donlin Gold for providing the jerseys for the players, and Grant Aviation and Fox Air for providing airfare for the teams.
