Some of the state’s top cross-country runners will converge in Bethel this weekend for the annual running of the Bethel Cross Country Invitational. The meet will be held Sept. 21 beginning at 10 a.m. with the middle school girls’ races. Among the teams scheduled to join the BRHS runners in the race are Akiachak, Chevak, Chefornak, Tuluksak. The middle school boys’ race will follow the girls’ event. The middle school boys’ race will start at 10:30 a.m. The varsity girls’ and boys’ races will begin at 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., respectively.
