Alaska State Troopers received a report from a tribal police officer on May 20, 2022 at 11:24 pm of a death in the village of Kipnuk. The deceased male was identified as John Paul, 30 years old of Kipnuk. The tribal police officer reported when they arrived on scene Paul was non-responsive. Resuscitation was attempted, but was unsuccessful. The State Medical Examiner has been notified and requested Paul’s body be sent in for an autopsy. Troopers from Bethel are responding for a complete investigation.
