The Kongiganak Youth to Work participants built a traditional mud/sod house with guidance from Instructor and M/W Joe Joseph. For insulation, they put blocks of sod and moss on the sides and some on the top leaving a center hole for light. They constructed the foundation using driftwood from the Kuskokwim River. Great job! The Youth to Work program is sponsored by the Coastal Villages Region Fund.
