“Shooting star” and Northern lights

Here is a spectacular shot of a meteor streaking through the Northern lights. The camera lens was able to pick up this shooting star while the Auroras blazed over Tundra Ridge last night, March 2nd, 2017.

Extreme Biking Ben Kuntz of Bethel and his faithful dog Ruby were out on a fat biking excursion on the frozen Kuskokwim River last Sunday. The big tires of the Surly fat bike make it fun to ride on extreme terrain, such as the snow-covered river.
