Bethel Police Department received a phone call of a small female juvenile child walking in traffic in the area of Ptarmigan and Akakeek in the light rain with a t-shirt and diaper on with no adults around on 07/08/2022 around 1456 hours.
An officer responded to the scene and took custody of the child and transported her to the hospital. The child is female, estimated to be 1-2 years of age, black hair, brown eyes, shaved eyebrows. The child was wearing a white cut off onesie for a t-shirt. The Bethel PD posted a photo of the child online and were able to identify her family with the help of the citizens of Bethel.
