Myron P. Naneng Sr. announces write-in campaign for State House District 38

“Write-in my name to represent State House 38.”

Cama-i,

My name is Myron P. Naneng Sr., and I am asking you to write in my name on the ballot for State House District 38. We need to have another local Alaska Native representing our region.

In my decades of service for the Yukon-Kuskokwim Region, I have maintained a strong focus on subsistence, migratory birds, moose, marine mammals, fish and more, including Public Safety in our villages.

The disastrous fish runs of the last few years, on both the Kuskokwim and Yukon Rivers and lack of Native Representation on the Bycatch Committee, show that we need a State Representative that understands and depends upon subsistence fishing.

We need answers on why fish runs are so poor, and we need solutions to ensure future runs are strong. I will fight to get that attention and funding.

Food security and Subsistence is a life that I understand. Subsistence is a life that I live. Subsistence is a life I teach my kids and grandchildren.

Help me represent the Yukon-Kuskokwim Region in the Alaska State Legislature. On November 8, write in Myron P. Naneng, Sr. for State House District 38.

Quyana.
