People traveling on the beach in Nikiski located human remains on 4/29/21. AST and AWT responded, and AWT troopers recovered the body. Update 5/6: The State Medical Examiner has positively identified the human remains as 37-year-old Anchorage resident Floyd Hamrick. Mr. Hamrick was reported missing to Troopers in December 2020. At this time there are no obvious signs of foul play. Next of kin have been notified. The investigation continues.
