Congratulations to the newly crowned 2023 Miss Fairbanks Native Association (FNA), Hailey Anganaran Moses of Fairbanks. And the 2nd runner up Miss Fairbanks Native Association Princess is Alana Amitatugaq Moses. Hailey and Alana are sisters, their proud family are parents Calvin and Catherine Moses and grandparents are Mark and Juliana Springer of Bethel and Hooper Bay.

Hailey Moses is a freshman at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Alana is a junior at Hutchinson Career Center in Fairbanks. Alana’s regalia with the beading and furs were all made by her – the headdress, parka, and booties. “She comes from a long line of Yup’ik seamstresses,” said her family.

The coronation took place during the annual Fairbanks Native Association Potlatch celebration on March 18th, 2023. Miss FNA Hailey Moses will be competing for Miss World Eskimo Indian Olympics in July.
