Man arrested for assault

Officers from the Bethel Police Department responded to the area of Watsons Corner in reference to an assault on 09/13/2022 at approximately 0233 hours. Officers arrived at the scene and observed a female was bleeding from her face. She was examined by medics at the scene and found to have a serious head injury. She was transported to YKHC for treatment and at last contact they were preparing her to be flown to Anchorage for additional treatment due to her injuries. With the information provided to them officers were able to locate and arrest Teddy Moses Wassillie 40, of Akiachak for Assault 1.
