The Bethel Regional High School Lady Warriors kicked off their 2018 basketball season with a 1-2 mark this past weekend at the Powerade/Al Howard Tip-Off Classic. The tournament was held on Thursday through Saturday in Soldotna.

Jackson and Audri Goodwine led all Bethel scorers with eight points apiece. Lieb and Long both tallied six, while Fiola Dema added four.

The Lady Warriors dropped a 66-22 decision to Soldotna on Friday.

In that game, eight BRHS players managed to pencil their names into the scorebook. Lieb led all scorers with six points. Gabrielle Fredericks tallied four, while Jackson and Long scored three.
