It was a once in a lifetime family trip to Kusilvak over the Labor Day weekend, wrote Alicia Ramoth of Scammon Bay. “A day of hoping ended in breathtaking rewards. Madison Rose Ramoth, age 13, caught her first moose as her two younger brothers, Leonard Ramoth Jr., age 9, and Warren Ramoth, age 7, with uncle Scott Kaganak also took home two bull moose. Leonard Ramoth Sr. (father of Ramoth children and photographer), cousin Austin Kasayuli and Uppa Clifford Kaganak Sr. continue the celebrations with a safe trip home and best wishes to all other hunters for a successful hunting trip this year.”
