Kevin Gosselin Feb. 16, 1959 – March 19, 2018

Kevin Gosselin, 59 from Bethel, AK/Joliet, MT went to be with his Lord Jesus March 19th after a very brief illness.
Kevin was born Feb 16 1959 in Rapid City, SD to Charles and Loretta (Coe) Gosselin. He grew up on the family ranch and farm near Hammond, MT. He attended schools at Box Elder, Hammond, Broadus and Bozeman. He was involved in 4H and FFA all through school, and always looked forward to the projects for those activities. During college, he was a proud member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, where he formed many deep friendships. Another college interest for Kevin was a girl named Teresa, an interest that would bloom again 30 years later in life.
After graduating from college Kevin worked on the family ranch and spent as much time as he could with his children, Erin and Ryan, from his first marriage, as they grew up. After leaving the ranch, he worked in several job fields. He loved the opportunities for constructing and fixing things that others could use.
Kevin reconnected with his college sweetheart Teresa. She was the love of his life and he never missed the chance to tell people about their loving relationship. They married on July 9, 2011 and shortly thereafter moved to Bethel AK where he worked as an intensive needs special education aide. Kevin enjoyed the adventures of living in AK and traveling around MT in the summer. He was looking forward to retirement so he could visit family and extended family, especially his children and grandchildren. Kevin was an avid reader. He loved the lost art of letter writing and sending cards to family and friends. He put others before himself, and the Lord Jesus Christ was his main focus and he tried to emulate that on a daily basis. He loved to spend time around his friends and family and was always the first person to jump in and help out when he saw a need. Kevin was a generous and loving man. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Loretta Gosselin and an aunt, Marie Powell.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Gosselin of Bethel, AK/Joliet, MT; children, Erin (Cody) LeMons of Salt Lake City, UT and Ryan Gosselin of Dallas, TX; step children, Adam (Kat) Malcott of Joliet, MT and Shelly Malcott of Fairbanks, AK; brother, Dwight (Jeri) Gosselin of Bothell, WA; sister, Marcia (Nick) Stann of Redmond, WA; 3 grandchildren, Brynne and Benjamin LeMons and Piper Malcott.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 26 at 11:00 AM, at Kline Funeral Chapel in Belle Fourche. Internment followed at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche.
