Jason Pavila, age 16, of Kwethluk crosses the finish line during the 2020 Bogus Creek 150 sled dog race on Saturday morning, January 18th. Jason and Bethel’s Ron Kaiser were head to head vying for 2nd place while nearing Bethel after mushing during the night from Bogus Creek. Jason is exhausted and drenched in frost and sweat from kicking with all his might and giving it his all, a most valiant effort. He finished in third position, one minute behind Kaiser.
