Incident at BRHS

Today, March 22, 2023, at approximately 8:30 am BRHS staff was alerted to a student who had brought a weapon to school. By 8:39 AM, the weapon was in the possession of BRHS staff. The Bethel Police Department was contacted and responded immediately.

There were no injuries or attempts to harm others. The juvenile was remanded into custody and there is no ongoing threat to the school.
