Hoffman re-elected as Co-Chair for the Alaska Federation of Natives

Congratulations to Ana Hoffman for her re-election as Co-Chair of the Alaska Federation of Natives. She was re-elected on Saturday, the final day of the AFN Conference in Fairbanks. Ana is fluent in the Yup’ik language and is from Bethel. Thank you for your service!

The Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) is the largest statewide Native organization in Alaska. Its membership includes 191 federally recognized tribes, 171 village corporations, 12 regional corporations, and 12 regional nonprofit and tribal consortiums that contract and compact to run federal and state programs. AFN is governed by a 38-member board, which is elected by its membership at the annual convention held each October.

We join the countless others from our region and throughout the state in wishing Ana well, quyana!
