Going Home Pentecostal Celebration Timothy John Carter May 6, 1961 – May 10, 2018

Timothy John Carter (Callerkuaq) was born to Peter and Martha (Nicholai) Carter on May 6, 1961 in Eek, Alaska. He has two brothers and six sisters. His siblings are Lou, Nick, Joe, Emma, Annie, Sally, Maggie, and Cindy. His wife is Julie Carter, children include Priscilla, Sharon, Shantel, and Patricia. He is a grandpa to Magdalene, DJ, Kenzie, Mikey Jr., Michelle, Angie, Michaela, and recently Luke Elisha O’Brien. He will be greatly missed.
He loved to hunt moose, caribou, ducks, geese, and swans. He also enjoyed picking salmonberries and blueberries. He was an avid subsistence hunter and fisherman, and provided for his family. He was a handyman that could fix almost anything. He loved native foods, especially his mom’s cooking.
He is an Apostolic Pentecostal believer and member since April 1989. He gave his life to the Lord at the Eagle River United Pentecostal Church, pastored by Reverend Kevin and Lydia Scott.
He has many relatives around the YK Delta. He is preceded in death by Michael Chris, Peter Carter, Nikita Petluska, Katherine Petluska (aunt), Minnie and Nick Carter (grandparents), Elena and Tom McIntyre (aunt and uncle), John Foster, Wassillie Foster (uncle), Walter and Paulina Carter, Alice and Adolf Carter (aunt and uncle), and many more.
For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. – Phillippians 1:21. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. – Psalm 116:15.
