George B. Nevak worked as a maintenance man with B.I.A. and L.K.S.D. for many years in Toksook Bay and retired after 30+ years.

Each of his children had fond memories of him that are dear to them.

He was a great provider and shared his catch with his relatives in Tuntutuliak, Napakiak, Chefornak, Nightmute and Toksook. He had often contributed to strangers and especially to the homeless people, so they could buy food.
