RN/LPN/Medical Assistant 
Bethel Family Clinic has an opening for an experienced full-time Medical Assistant. The candidate must be familiar with clinic surroundings and the management of patients in an outpatient setting. Phlebotomy skills are required and x-ray skills preferred.
Medical Assistant: 6 months experience required and Medical assistant certificate preferred. We are willing to assist with certification efforts.
LPN/RN: Must have graduated from an accredited university nursing program and currently licensed in good standing with the State of Alaska Nursing Board. This position will report to the Medical Support Staff supervisor.
Third Party & Insurance Billing Assistant
The third party and insurance billing assistant position reviews all services and charges for a patient visit and files the claims with the outsourced vendor for processing. Additionally, the assistant shall post payments made to the patients accounts, pursues collection of all claims until payment is made by insurance companies; and performs other work associated with the billing process.
This is a full-time, benefited position, working Monday through Friday.
Education: Successful completion of high school or GED. Commercial coursework including math, bookkeeping and business is a plus. Post high school courses in insurance billing, data processing and medical terminology is preferred. Computer skills are required.
