Yupiit School District is accepting bids for furnishing and delivery of bulk diesel fuel – #1 heating oil, Bulk Gasoline, Bulk Motor Oil and Propylene Glycol for the Akiachak, Akiak and Tuluksak Schools. The scope of work will include the purchase, transport, delivery, pumping and transfer of bulk fuel to the Yupiit School District’s bulk tanks.

ONC Environmental Committee
Are there environmental issues in the tribal community that seem to be overlooked or ignored? Want to be an active member on our team to address those issues? The ONC’s Environmental Program is seeking 4 candidates from the tribal community of Bethel to form an Environmental Committee. The Committee will be responsible for:
•meeting once every quarter to focus more on environmental concerns relating to:
-Human and environmental health issues facing our community that seem to go unnoticed/ignored.
-Collaborate with Environmental staff on how to help improve our environmental educational outreach practices.
-Review the program’s EPA Tribal Environmental Plan (ETEP) and work plans, and share updates or share recommendations for changes.
To qualify, candidates must be:
– Enrolled members of the Orutsararmiut Native Council who are 18 years old/older
– Live in Bethel
– Be willing to meet 4 times a year (once a quarter).
Stipends will be provided.
