Position: ACCOUNTING CLERK I, II OR III – (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
Location: BUSINESS OFFICE / PAYROLL DEPARTMENT
Qualifications for Accounting Clerk I, II or III: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to live and work in a cross-cultural, rural Alaskan environment. Must pass a criminal background check. Ability to use 10-key calculators by touch. Ability to operate electronic data processing equipment. Ability to perform basic clerical functions.
Additional Qualifications – Accounting Clerk I: Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM.
Additional Qualifications – Accounting Clerk II: Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM. Successful completion of post-secondary school accounting class work equivalent to one semester of college accounting course, or two years of exemplary performance as an Accounting Clerk I, may be substituted.
Additional Qualifications – Accounting Clerk III: Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute. Successful completion of post-secondary school accounting class work equivalent to two semesters of college accounting courses, or two years of exemplary performance as an Accounting Clerk II, may be substituted.

INVITATION TO BID
Notice is hereby given that the Lower Kuskokwim School District will be receiving sealed bids from general contractors for the construction of the Ayaprun Replacement School at the LKSD main campus in Bethel, Alaska. Activities are planned to begin immediately upon award. Bids will be received at ECI, Inc., 3909 Arctic Blvd, Suite 100, Anchorage, Alaska 99503 until 2:00PM AKST, January 14, 2022. Bids will be opened and read aloud via Zoom.
The Project consists of:
· The construction of an approximately 53,865 gsf (including storage mezzanine and mechanical platform gsf) new school for grades Kindergarten through 6, gymnasium and Language and Cultural Center offices,
· The construction of a parking lot, fire access road, site infrastructure and public access roads,
· Final grading for a designated area including all areas under the building footprint and other pile foundations.
· Project coordination with adjacent construction projects, including, but not limited to: LKSD
Ayaprun Replacement School Early Site and Pile Project, DOT Ridgecrest Improvements, LKSD Infrastructure Improvement Projects at the LKSD Campus, City of Bethel and AVEC line extension,
· SWPP development and maintenance.
· Final placement of fill that was stockpiled during the LKSD Ayaprun Replacement School Early Site and Pile Project. Final placement to be located on the LKSD Campus and will be coordinated during construction with LKSD.
· The construction of new site utilities – including a pump house, generator module, IT module, fuel tank, building utilities, boardwalks, play deck, play court, pedestrian boardwalks, crosswalk reconnection and replacement stairs to LKSD District Building,
· Temporary connection for continued use of exterior crosswalk lighting.
· Access coordination for the adjacent LKSD Campus Facilities that will be in use during construction, including parking, bus routes and pedestrian connectivity.

The Lower Kuskokwim School district is soliciting sealed bids for one (1) Caterpillar Grader Yr: 1949, S/N: 8T2864 located at 1004 Ron Edwards Way. All sealed bids shall be no less than $500.00 and must be received in the LKSD Business Office no later than 3PM on December 14th, 2021.
The bids must be in a sealed envelope and reference our bid number listed above on the left-hand corner of the envelope. The bid envelope will contain the Bidder’s name, bid number, address, point of contact and price for the vehicle being bid. Interested parties may inquire regarding setting up a schedule for viewing by calling 543-4821. The vehicle will be sold for cash, cashier’s check or money order made out to LKSD.
The vehicle is sold, “As is, where is, with LKSD taking no liability after Purchase” and without warranty of any kind or nature. LKSD will have no liability for loss or injury caused by operation of the vehicle upon delivery of vehicle to the successful bidder.
