AVCP Mission Statement

Provides Human Development, Social Services, and other culturally relevant programs for the people, to promote self-determination, protection and enhancement of our culture and traditions through a working partnership with member villages of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta.

AVCP serves 56 member communities, with the main offices located in Bethel, Alaska. AVCP owns and operates several properties throughout Bethel and the region.

AVCP Facilities Maintenance Mission Statement

The goal of Facilities Management is to provide a safe and productive work environment for the employees of AVCP. This environment will help the employees of AVCP perform the tasks necessary to build and maintain professional levels of service for their programs.

Specifications of Work

1. Parking areas around the perimeter of the Lomack building must be filled, graded, and compacted to maintain the integrity and functionality of the parking area.

2. Fill, Grade, and Compact dirt then Cap and Compact gravel at the west end of the Tugkar building to expand the parking lot.

Assumptions and Constraints

The contractor will provide all tools, supplies, and manpower to complete the project outlined above.

The contractor will perform work to industry standards using tools and material that meet or exceed industry standards.

The contractor will follow safety standards established by OSHA.

All contractors must provide proof of licensure, bonding, and insurance that meet or exceed the requirements of the State of Alaska.

All contractors must provide three references and documentation of similar work performed.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based upon cost, timeliness, references, and experience.
