Alaska State Troopers were notified that a juvenile boy was struck by an ATV on June 17, 2021, at 1853 hours. Based on the investigation an adult male who was visiting the community was driving with a passenger and navigating a blind corner. The juvenile was riding a bike on the other side of the corner on the side of the road. The bike was struck and the child flew over the ATV. The driver brought the child to the clinic where the child was treated for his injuries and was in stable condition when he was flown to Anchorage for further medical care. The current status of the juvenile is unknown at this time. No citations have been issued nor have any arrests been made. The investigation continues.
