With the help of Donlin Gold donation funds in the Fall of 2022 for the City of Pilot Station within the Kusilvak Census Area, the front-end Heavy Equipment loader finally got back on its tracks to provide much needed services within City limits. With the help of Jared Makaily and his boat crew, the pair of new tires from neighboring St. Mary’s airport hub was delivered. Now our Municipal Government has Heavy Equipment to serve all local residents, businesses and schools – maintaining sanitary access routes to the landfill, clear snow and ice on gravel roads, move boats and goods from river dock, and respond to any future natural disaster. Thank you for your donations during these difficult times. -Brian Stephanoff-CARES Act Coordinator for the City of Pilot Station
