In just under 30 minutes 203 pounds of cookies disappeared at the 29th YK Delta Lifesavers Christmas Cookie Extravaganza on Sunday December 18.
35 Christmas Bakers donated cookies for the event. The $3,034 dollars raised in the 30 minutes of cookie buyers scurrying around the tables goes into the YK Delta Lifesaver Endowment Fund. Donations to the fund can be made at bcsfoundation.org. Funds raised support swim opportunities at the YK Fitness Center.
