Joeli Carlson of Kwethluk and Bethel graduated from the University of Minnesota Morris with a Bachelor of Arts degree double majoring in Native American and Indigenous Studies and Psychology with a minor in English. She graduated on May 11th, 2024 surrounded by her family and friends. Carlson is also part of Sitka’s Mount Edgecumbe High School’s Class of 2020. Founded in 1960, the University of Minnesota Morris is a nationally ranked top 10 public liberal arts university dedicated to its students and the environment.
