Calista regular Early Bird Proxy Prizes

Nearly 13,000 Shareholders Eligible for All Prize Drawings.

Seven Calista (cha-LIS-tah) Corporation Shareholders are winners of Regular Early Bird proxy prizes in the 2025 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. The prizes are randomly drawn by Sramek Hightower, a certified public accounting firm in Anchorage that serves as the Inspector of Elections.

Nearly 13,000 Shareholders who voted by paper or online by 5 p.m. on May 23 qualified for the Regular Early Bird prizes and were entered in all remaining prize drawings. The winners are:

• $10,000 Prize – Kathleen A. Fancyboy (Pilot Station)

• $2,500 Prize – Katie A.M. Jones (Bethel)

• $1,000 Prize – Hilda L. Stern (Alakanuk), Frieda R. Stone (Hooper Bay), Robert J.M. Gregory (Bethel), Vladimir Jackson (Kwethluk), Linda M. Evangelista (University Place, WA)

Among all voters, over 8 in 10 have voted online, including over 6 in 10 Elders.

The deadline to qualify for the final round is 5 p.m. on Monday, June 2 (all times Alaska). All valid paper and online proxies received by this deadline qualify. There are 10 prizes totaling $17,000.

“It’s exciting to hear of Shareholders assisting our Elders to vote, whether by paper or online at www.CalistaVote.com,” said Thom Aparuk Leonard, vice president of corporate affairs. “Calista works to make voting easy by offering the option to vote online or by paper, and by providing about five weeks of voting this year.”

Proxy prizes are only awarded if enough Shareholders vote and quorum is reached. This makes the Annual Meeting valid. Learn more at www.CalistaCorp.com/AnnualMeeting.
