Calista Public Advocacy and Engagement Committee endorses Dunleavy

Yukon Kuskokwim Infrastructure and Donlin Gold Support, and opposition against Ballot Measure 1 remain pivotal issues.
The non-partisan Calista Public Advocacy and Engagement Committee (PAEC) has updated its gubernatorial candidate endorsement.
“The PAEC members appreciates both candidates taking time to visit with Committee members Friday evening (Oct. 19th, 2018),” said Robert Beans, Chair. “Opposition against Ballot Measure 1, support for responsible development for the proposed Donlin Gold project, and other key socio-economic measures are crucial decision points for Committee members.”
The Committee endorses Mike Dunleavy for governor.
The PAEC members will immediately begin informing voters throughout the YK region. The committee members remind voters that early in-person voting opens Monday, October 22.
Committee members are Dora C. Moore, Fred Phillip, Robert Beans, Willie Kasayulie, Earl Samuelson, Johnny Evan, Andrew Guy and Thom Leonard.
