Valid online proxies cast at www.CalistaVote.com and paper proxy votes qualified. All proxy prize winners are randomly drawn by Sramek Hightower, a certified public accounting firm in Anchorage that serves as the Inspector of Elections.

About half of all eligible voting Shareholders from the Region cast their vote before the June 14 deadline. Over 7 in 10 Shareholders voted online, and more than 6 in 10 voters have finished in less than 3 minutes.

The deadline for the final rounds of prizes—the Online and Regular Proxy Prize drawings—is 5pm on Monday, June 28. All valid online proxies received by this deadline qualify for the Online Regular Proxy Prizes; and all valid paper and online proxies received by this deadline qualify for the Regular Proxy Prizes. There are 10 combined prizes for the last two drawings totaling $17,000.

“All valid proxy votes must be received by the June 28 deadline to qualify for elections this year. Shareholders who have misplaced their PIN can contact Sramek-Hightower at 907-633-3320. The PIN will also allow Shareholders to view the Annual Meeting,” said Thom Aparuk Leonard, director of communications and Shareholder Services.

The Calista Annual Meeting scheduled for 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021, will be virtual via www.CalistaVote.com (held by electronic communication on the Internet), due to the ongoing pandemic. Shareholders are encouraged to save their individual PIN to view the virtual meeting.

Proxy prizes are only awarded if enough Shareholders vote and quorum is reached. This makes the Annual Meeting valid. Updates and details are posted at www.CalistaCorp.com/AnnualMeeting.
