The Bethel Lady Warrior cross country runners beat the Kotzebue Huskies to take first place at the 2021 3A Big West Conference cross country regional meet in Kotzebue this past weekend.
Team members for the Warriors are Alqaq Katherine Small, Cadence Cedars, Maya Komulainen, Payton Boney, Fiona Phelan, Beth Hensley, and Jordan Klejka. They will be traveling to the State XC Finals this weekend.
The Warrior boys placed second. BRHS runners Landon Smith and Peter Crow will also be competing at the State XC Finals in Anchorage. The BRHS XC team is led by Coach Saltzman. Congratulations!
