Bogus Creek 150 Registration Info

by the K300 Race Committee

January 16, 2021: The 2021 Bogus Creek 150 will take place on Saturday, January 23rd. The race will begin with a mass start at Noon near the mouth of the small boat harbor. Trail details will be announced late next week but we can share at this time that mushers will travel a loop of approximately 75 miles that ends in the Hangar Lake area. That will be the only checkpoint and there will be the usual 4 hour required layover before mushers return on the same trail, finishing on the river.

Racers are required to register in advance. Please do so by completing the form available at https://www.k300.org/k300-mushers-corner. Anyone with limited internet access can register over the phone by calling 545-3300. Please register by Thursday, January 21.

There are many changes to the race rules so even veterans of the 150 are urged to review them. They are also available at https://www.k300.org/k300-mushers-corner.

There will be brief meeting at the start line to review key rules and trail details 1 hour before the start of the race, at 11 AM. Attendance is mandatory for all racers. Masks are required.

This race will be conducted in much the same way as our two recent races. Covid-19 safety protocols, listed below, are still in effect.
