The Barrow Lady Whalers varsity team traveled to Bethel to play at the WarriorDome this past weekend for some 3A Western Conference basketball action. It was two close exciting games this weekend, Bethel came close by lost 48-43 in their first game with the Lady Whalers of Barrow/Utqiagvik. On Saturday night the Barrow Lady Whalers won again, 56-51.
In Utqiagvik, the Bethel Warrior boys played the Barrow Whalers, the Whalers won 77-62 on Saturday. Friday the score was 62-57 with Barrow winning.
