Bethel Spirits will open on June 27, 2017 at the 750 Front Street location in Bethel. The package store will operate 8 hours a day, five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. The store will offer a selection of beer and wine products. Bethel Spirits, in compliance with Alaska Statutes, intends to operate the package store for thirty days annually at this location. All individuals working at Bethel Spirits have received the required training and are certified through Alaska’s CHARR Training for Alcohol Professionals. The property is equipped with security cameras and remote alarm systems. The store will limit the number of patrons to six customers at a time occupying the retail floor. Anyone entering the store must be 21 years of age or older. To verify age, identification and eligibility, employees will only accept valid State of Alaska issued identification cards or current United States passports. Bethel Spirits reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will operate in a socially responsible manner with the highest regard for the law.
