An unknown male entered into the Alaska Buds Establishment on the 600 block of Third Avenue on 11/28/2022 at approximately 2130 in the City of Bethel. The male was carrying a duffle bag and an M16 style rifle. The male appeared uncoordinated in his movements and was possibly intoxicated. The male placed a duffle bag on the counter in what appeared to be an attempt to rob the establishment. The male then fired several shots, with the first few hitting the ground. After firing, the male jumped over a display counter. The male took approximately $300 in merchandise and fled the scene. The male was dressed in dark clothing including a jacket with a “Res Alaska” logo on it. The male fled in an unknown direction. One employee was injured and transported to the hospital. Currently, the Bethel Police Department is actively investigating the incident. Any information regarding this incident can be relayed to the Bethel Police Department at 907 543 3781.
