The Bethel Lady Warriors hosted their 3A western conference region counterparts, the Lady Huskies of Kotzebue on Friday, February 18, 2022. The WarriorDome was busy with junior high and junior varsity blue and gold games before the varsity game of the night. Bethel’s Fiona Phelan and Ava Lieb both scored in the double digits, 14 and 13. For the Lady Huskies, Kaila Short posted 14 and Starr Thomas scored 8. The Lady Warriors are coached by Regina Lieb and the Lady Huskies by Jade Hill. The game was broadcast live on the Bethel Regional High School page and also on the KYUK airwaves with commentary and score summaries. The teams will be playing again on Saturday, Feb. 19th.
